HGV Driver

Job Title: Driver (3.5t to HGV Class 1 and 2)
Location: Plymouth, PL9
Duration: 28/08/24 - 30/11/24
Hourly Rate: £14.41 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled and reliable driver to operate a range of vehicles from 3.5t up to HGV Class 1 and 2. This is a temporary position from 28th August 2024 to 30th November 2024.

Responsibilities:
Collecting bulky waste from households
Driving compaction vehicles to collect waste from businesses across Plymouth
Ensuring safe and efficient operation of all vehicles
Maintaining accurate records of collections and deliveries
Performing manual handling and heavy labour, including lifting and manoeuvring items
Adhering to all safety and compliance regulations

Requirements:
Full driving license including HGV Cat C
Current Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Ability to operate a range of vehicles from 3.5t to HGV Class 1 and 2
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Previous experience in waste collection or similar roles is a plus
