Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Interruptions Analyst to join the Central Supply Interruptions (SI) Team At Thames Water, who can support the team to meet Water Networks current and future SI challenges. 

You will work closely with the programme and Water Interruptions teams to assure performance data and produce clear performance packs.

The role holder will be meticulous with all data preparatory activities to ensure accurate information is provided within all performance reports.  They will be key in data visualisation by creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and improving reporting efficiency through automation and use of AI.

You will navigate data challenges to enable production of data to provide insight which will enable business decisions to be made, focussed around SI performance in Water Networks. 

The role holder will engage with all levels of management, and effectively collaborate and engage with key stakeholders from different parts of the business and across different professional disciplines, so effective communication skills are key.

What you will be doing as a Supply Interruptions Analyst?
  • Ensure high-quality professional reporting on SI performance
  • Creates meaningful and clear insight that can be acted upon
  • Validation of data outputs from tools/models
  •  Acts as a central project support resource, supporting team manager and working with all programme team members.
  • Understands the information need of the stakeholders and ensures accurate reporting on key project metrics
  • Works with all Thames Water teams to ensure benefits are captured and delivered in line with what our board members and operational colleagues would expect to see from a world-class organisation
What should you bring to the role?
  • A self-motivated logical individual with an analytical “can-do” pragmatic mind-set
  • Experience and knowledge of working with databases, data analysis, and reporting
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining automated Power BI dashboards
  • Knowledge of the Water Network key metrics and success criteria
  • Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly
  • Excellent team player and communication skills
  • You will also be fully competent at using in-house IT systems and Office software
  • Strong focus on quality, rigour, and a high level of attention to detail are key characteristics of a successful role holder
  • Experience of project lifecycle is desirable
  • Due to the location, a driving licence is desirable
