Start date: 1st September 2025
Base Location: Hybrid - Kidlington - OX5 1QT
Working hours: 36 hours Monday- Friday
Programme Length: 60 months + End point Assessment 

Training provider details: You’ll complete your degree with the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) this will be delivered virtually via weekly online workshops throughout your apprenticeship.

Qualification you will obtain: Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited BSc/BSc(Honours) Completion of the Chartered surveyor (degree) Apprenticeship , MRICS (awarded upon completion of APC).

Entry Requirements: A minimum of two GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths grade 4 or above (A*-C), or L2 Functional Skills in Maths & English and 96 UCAS tariff points (or an equivalent level of attainment through recognised qualifications not included in the UCAS tariff*)

Don’t worry if you don’t have your grades yet, if you are due to sit your exams this year, we still want to hear from you if your predicted grades meet our requirements.

Other immediate demands: A full UK driving licence (If using your vehicle, you will require business use on your insurance policy at your own cost)

Application Process:
Step one: Click apply and you will be asked to complete a short online application where we ask basic information about yourself, your current qualifications/ predicted grades and why you want to apply for this apprenticeship.

Step two: You will be sent a short online assessment please make sure you are in a quiet environment and have given yourself enough time to complete it.

Step three: You will be sent a link to book onto a telephone call with a member of our Resourcing Team this is a change for us to get to know you better and where we will check you are eligible for the apprenticeship.

Step 4: If you are successful in our screening process you will be invited to an in person assessment which will include a group exercise and a competency based interview.

Assessment Centre Dates– will be held in April (date and location of assessment will be confirmed in due course)

What you’ll be doing as a Quantity Surveyor Apprentice
As a Quantity Surveyor Apprentice, you will be attending construction sites to carry out physical measurements of work done under supervision by your mentor as well as many other accountabilities listed below.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Building up estimates of the cost of construction based on the information gathered from attendance of site visits 
  • Carrying out desktop quality assurance audits of work done 
  • Assisting the Quantity Surveyor in producing contractual documents such as payment notices & change control 
  • Assisting the Quantity Surveyor in estimating project costs from scope documents
  • Assisting the Quantity Surveyor verifying applications for payments 
  • Using systems knowledge to generate regular financial reports 
  • Working with Finance teams to accurately account for work done
About the Apprenticeship programme
