Job Description

As a Customer Planner, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our field engineers have everything they need to deliver the best possible service. From scheduling and planning work to keeping customers informed and problem-solving in real-time, you’ll be at the heart of operational success. Every decision you make puts the customer first, ensuring we deliver the right fix the first time. What you’ll be doing as a Customer Planner
  • Schedule and allocate jobs efficiently, ensuring engineers have the right skills and information for a first-time fix.
  • Act as the key contact for work allocation, escalating issues and ensuring timely resolutions to minimise customer impact.
  • Keep customers informed at every stage, handle queries and complaints professionally, and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Work closely with field teams, contractors, and internal teams to drive efficiency and resolve issues quickly.
  • Follow documented procedures, maintain high safety standards, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you should bring to the role 
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • A background in data analytics, planning, or coordination would be beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to confidently interact with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ownership and accountability to take responsibility for work requirements and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Confidence in using Excel.
