Finance Business Partner

This is a rewarding opportunity to join our business as the Finance Business Partner for Developer Services.  You will be part of the wider finance leadership community; driving business and financial performance through actively influencing senior stakeholders and effective application of insightful knowledge. You will utilise your strong business partnering experience to build strong relationships with relevant senior management teams to support the achievement of shared business performance objectives.

What you will be doing as Finance Business Partner

• Developing a deep understanding of business performance drivers; develop, monitor and advise senior stakeholders on KPIs which drive optimal financial outcomes.
• Supporting the relevant Executive Leader(s) and Head(s) in setting financial targets and forecasts.
• Working with the relevant Executive Leader(s) and Head(s) to develop and implement actions to deliver financial targets (including efficiency commitments) using business and financial insight to guide leaders on opportunities and risks.
• Presenting to leaders on financial matters including performance, budgets, forecasts, business plans and business cases related to change and investment.
• You will be a key contributor to process improvement initiatives across Finance, Legal & Commercial, working with colleagues to share and agree best practice and promote communication and engagement across all areas of the finance function. 
• Developing and documenting the knowledge base to become the financial expert for Developer Services which is a stand alone regulatory business area subject to its own price control and regulatory frameworks.

What you should bring to the role

• A proven ability as a finance business partner, with a track record of creating value and driving financial process and insight improvements
• Ability to influence and provide strategic recommendations to C-suite decision makers
• A track record of leading and influencing within a matrix organisation
• Strong communication and influencing skills, enabling effective engagement and decision making when working with operational, regulatory and financial stakeholders
• Ideally a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

• Competitive salary £65,000 - £75,000 per annum depending on experience
