Design Administrator. At Thames Water, we serve 16 million customers across London and the Thames Valley, and our Developer Services team is essential in supporting regional growth. What you’ll be doing as a Design AdministratorAs a
Design Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our processes running smoothly, from auditing jobs to managing customer communication. Working closely with your team, you’ll ensure that everything stays on track, providing great service along the way.
Key responsibilities will include:- Reviewing job classifications for accuracy and procedural compliance.
- Resolving pending accounts by investigating job statuses and updating customer records.
- Processing refunds for new water connection quotes.
- Managing private land notices and maintaining updated records.
- Closing applications for jobs that cannot proceed.
- Handling payments and notifying customers about payment holds.
- Submitting Network Approval requests to advance projects.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm
What you should bring to the role:We’re seeking a customer-focused, adaptable individual who thrives on challenges. The ideal candidate will have:
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to navigate evolving needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster effective relationships.
- Comfortable and confident in verbal communication with stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all tasks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the resilience to perform under pressure while meeting targets.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and internal platforms.
- A quick learning ability and adaptability to our processes and policies.
What’s in it for you?- Hourly Pay rate: £12.50 per hour
- Location: This role is Hybrid, with 2 days a week (Monday & Tuesday) based at Clearwater Court, Reading.
- Length of assignment: 26 weeks
- Required Start date: ASAP
- Hours: 36 hours per week
