Job Description
At Royal Mail, the festive season is our busiest time of the year, and it’s our seasonal workers who make delivering the magic of Christmas possible. As a Mail Sorter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every Christmas card and present safely reaches its destination
As a Seasonal Mail Sorter working at the heart of our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering Christmas to the nation. You’ll be:
- Unloading mail and packages from our vans.
- Moving mail and packages through our centres.
- Helping sort mail and packages.
About you
- Organised and efficient - Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability - Ability to switch between tasks during a shift.
- Strength and stamina - Ability to push trolleys (up to 250kg) and lift/move mail bags (up to 11kg).
- Comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing.
Available Shifts:
Earlies: 06:00 - 14:00
Lates: 14:00 - 22:00
Nights: 22:00 - 06:00
Weekends: Various shifts available
