Yard Operative/Yardsman

Are you ready to kickstart your career as a Yard Operative? Pertemps is thrilled to announce that we are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client for dynamic individuals to join the team! As a Yard Operative, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's depot in Sussex.



PLEASE NOTE – All applicants MUST have a Full UK driving license, with access to your own vehicle.

This is required due to the depot location. Any applicants who do not meet this requirement will be rejected by the pre-screening process



Responsibilities will include:

- Cleaning and preparing equipment both stock coming back from customers and going out.

- Checking and storing products

- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in yard, workshop, and storage areas

- Assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment

- Collaborating effectively with team members

Requirements:

- Full UK driving license, with access to your own vehicle is required due to depot location. Any applicants who do not meet this requirement will be automatically rejected.

- Physical fitness to carry out daily tasks

- Excellent customer service skills
- Commitment to health and safety standards
