Forklift Driver

We are currently working alongside a wine manufacture to find Forklift Drivers to assist during their harvest season, you will have duties such as unloading pallets with full crates on it, put pallets on scales, take pallets off scales and store in designated bays, take correct coloured marked pallets from the bays and load with forklift into a machine (help machine operator by manually taking empty pallet off machine), Load pallets with empty crates on trailers. In additional to these main duties, you may be required to do general work like sweeping/squeegee floors, help others with crate washers, clean drains, etc.

The ideal candidate for this role will have an in-date FLT CB licence and recent experience. 

This assignment is running for 3 weeks from Early October 2024.

The hours for this role is 11am-9.30pm, paying £14.00ph with overtime available. Hours subject to change.

We also have a 10am-7.30pm shift available but this would include a 50/50 split of FLT work and labouring work.

This role would be based at the companies vineyards in West Chiltington.
