Job Description
Our client, a reputable engineering company, is seeking a talented and experienced TIG Welder to join their team in Crawley. If you take pride in your craft and are seeking a role where your skills will be valued, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding, with partial MIG welding when required.
- Work with a variety of materials including stainless steel, brass, and aluminium (minimum thickness 5mm).
- Clean, polish, and complete your work to an impeccable standard.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and plans, ensuring precise execution.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects to exact specifications.
About You:
- Proven experience in TIG welding, with additional skills in MIG welding an advantage.
- Strong background in sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with working on materials with a minimum thickness of 5mm is essential.
What's On Offer:
- Competitive salary, £32,000 - £34,000pa DOE. (Overtime available at time & half)
- Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm (1.30pm finish on Friday)
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
