Our client, a leading supplier to the oil field sector, is seeking a reliable and proactive Storeman to join their team in Crawley.
This is a stand-alone position, perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment.

The Package:

• Competitive salary, £26,000 - £28,000pa DOE.
• Monday - Friday flexible working hours, with two shift options: 9:00am - 5:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm. Plus, an early finish at 4:30pm on Fridays.
• 21 days holiday, rising incrementally up to 28 days with each year of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all Goods In/Goods Out processes, ensuring timely booking onto the CRM system.
• Handle loading and unloading of deliveries using a counterbalance forklift and pump truck.
• Store items safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Build pallets and wrap items according to export and customs regulations.
• Label goods with correct weights, quantities, and details for commercial invoices.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept in an organised and safe condition, following best practices for export logistics.

About You:

• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment is essential, ideally in a sole-standing role.
• Counterbalance forklift experience and license are required.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling export documentation and labelling.
• Proactive and independent, with the ability to make the role your own.
