Production Plant Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading specialist manufacturer in their field, are seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join their expert team in Cranleigh.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery, including mixing, filling, pouch sealing, labelling, and folding equipment.
Work with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical machinery to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults swiftly and effectively.
Execute PPM to ensure operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
Attend to machinery breakdowns, identifying issues promptly and delivering high-quality repairs to minimise disruption to production.

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance engineering, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Confident fault-finding abilities across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently, using initiative to solve complex technical issues under pressure.
Reliability and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment functions optimally.
Own transport is essential due to the location.

The Package:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 3.30pm (40-hour week)
Competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000pa DOE.
20 days holiday + bank holidays.
