Mechanical Fitter

Our client is a global manufacturer of tension and compression testing equipment.

They are currently looking for a mechanical fitter to join the team based near Redhill.

The role will be to mechanically assemble and build their testing machines, fitting parts including wiring looms and electronic displays.

Use of hand and bench tools including pillar drills, manual lathes, grinding wheels etc will be a regular aspect of the job.

Reading engineering drawings, taking precise measurements and working with close tolerances are all skills required for this position.

You will ideally have an engineering background or related qualifications or a proven background in being able to demonstrate experience in this field.

39 hours a week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30).
