Commis Chef

£13.15 p/h – £14.54 p/h

We are recruiting Commis Chef for a VIP First Class Airline Lounge in Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport, this position is for a leading global airline.

This position is based airside and requires a full 5-year employment check.

As a Commis Chef your duties will be:
• Preparing food for service, including breakfast and a la carte menu.
• Assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas
• Ensuring deliveries are stored in a timely and effective manner.
• Rotating stock where necessary, ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively, and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards.
• Working in a fast-paced kitchen and work to set meal and portion plans.

In return Commis Chef will receive:
• £13.15 p/h to £14.54 p/h.
• 40 hours per week.
• Overtime opportunities available.

• Meals and drinks whilst on duty.

To be considered for this Commis Chef position:
• You must have similar experience within a hotel, restaurant, banqueting, contract catering, or similar catering environment.
• Be able to commute easily and reside within travelling distance of London Heathrow Airport
• You will be required to provide a five-year checkable history and a criminal record check as part of the interview process.

We would like to hear from individuals that have experience as Commis Chef, Chef Assistant, Line cook, Chef, Trainee Chef, Prep Cook, or Kitchen Assistant.

Successful applicants must be able to provide a 5-year checkable background check for referencing purposes and will also be subject to the security checks for Airside clearance.
