Hours of work during the week:

Monday - Friday: 05:30am - 08:00am OR 06:00am - 08:30am and 4:30pm - 7:00pm or 05:00pm - 07:00pm

Hours of work during the weekend:

Saturday: 06:00am - 07:00pm
Sunday: 06:00am - 12:00pm

Overview of a cleaner:

Pertemps has an exciting opportunity within the London Borough of Harrow for a self-driven and motivated Cleaner to join an expanding team. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £13.46 per hour, increasing in line with London Borough of Harrow Pay Scale increments. Additional benefits include accruing up to 28 days of holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within London Borough of Harrow:

Main Responsibilities of a cleaner:

Perform general cleaning duties according to the cleaning schedule for the establishment.
Safely use equipment and materials, reporting faults and the need to replace equipment and materials.
Vacuum clean carpets and use shampoo equipment to deal with stains when necessary.
Mop, brush, and buff other floor coverings using provided equipment.
Clean baths, sinks, lavatory pans, commodes, and other sanitary ware using appropriate materials.

The successful cleaner will:

Be able to work responsibly without supervision.
Be flexible to cover staff sickness at short notice.
Communicate clearly in English, both written and verbally.
Be expected to apply for an Enhanced DBS check for this role.
