Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Leamington Spa. This role involves a variety of warehouse tasks, from stock handling and order picking to maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and timely order fulfilment.

This position involves working Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Handling: Receive, check, and unload goods from delivery vehicles. Ensure that products are stored in the correct locations.
Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer requirements and order sheets.
Inventory Control: Assist in inventory counts, stock rotation, and ensure the correct stock levels are maintained.
Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Loading and Unloading: Help load goods for distribution and unload deliveries efficiently.
Quality Control: Inspect goods for quality issues or damages and report them to management.
General Warehouse Duties: Support various warehouse activities as required, including maintaining a tidy workspace and assisting other teams as needed.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and moving goods.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to problem-solve.
• Forklift license (preferred but not essential; training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
