General Operative

Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Fri 07:30 - 15:30
Pay: Up to £12.48 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm

Pertemps are seeking a General Operative to join a manufacturing company based in Kidderminster. Working on a temporary to permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for manufacturing and a desire to grow within the team. The successful candidate will be eager to contribute to a respected company while developing their skills in a supportive environment.

Please note: Regular requirements to undertake site activities working on engineering/construction sites away from home within the UK ranging from 1 day to 2 week periods.

The Duties of a General Operative:

• Undertake installation activities on steel fabricated equipment.
• General housekeeping, ensuring all aisles and fire door areas are continually monitored
• Remove all rubbish to appropriate skips/areas
• Carry out tasks as requested by supervisors in relation to manufacture
• Work within ISO 9001 quality procedures
• Any other duties required by factory Team Leaders or Production Manager.

• Commitment, ownership, pride and can-do attitude essential.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Understanding of 2D Drawings
• Excellent attendance and reliability record
