Pay: From £12.48 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Pertemps are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing company based in Kidderminster. Working on a temporary to permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for manufacturing and a desire to grow within the team. The successful candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.
The Duties of a Quality Inspector:
- Generate, co-ordinate and utilise Inspection Plans and appropriate measuring tools
- Perform effective & efficient inspection of Incoming Materials, Stock Investigations and Finished Goods
- Reject all non-conforming products and materials that fail to meet quality Specifications.
- Control Rejected/Quarantined Material, review and monitor supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed departmental records
- Provide analysis and actions to meet Customer Requirements and Production Timelines in terms of Quality and Delivery.
- Ability to read CAD Drawings and Product Specifications to understand requirements
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the product to the specifications.
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure consistent quality control.
- Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient
The Requirements of a Quality Inspector:
- Excellent Written and Spoken English
- Quality Engineer experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Work within required Timelines to avoid Production down time
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Good math and technical skills
- Good understanding of 2D drawings
- Excellent attendance and reliability record
