Pertemps are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative for a large clients in Gateshead on temporary ongoing basis.

Position: Warehouse Operative

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 15:00 – 19:00

Pay Rate: £11.65 per hour

About the Role:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's leading logistics companies?
This hands-on role involves working within the warehouse section of our Service Centre, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently, while adhering to all legislative health, safety, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with DHL compliance procedures.
• Scan and distribute materials within the service centre, ensuring high levels of precision and compliance with Global Operating Procedures.
• Handle shipments with care and attention, adhering to health, safety, and security policies.
• Work to tight deadlines and demonstrate excellent teamwork to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Use a computer system to assist in the processing of shipments.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of manual handling techniques and the ability to perform physical tasks.
• A team player with a precise and time-measured approach to tasks.
• Commitment to achieving results and working to deadlines.
• Preferred experience within a warehouse environment.

Requirements:

Full 5-year vetting and a clean CRC (DBS) are required before commencing work.
Aviation Security Training, Manual Handling, and FLT qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
