Job Description

Pertemps Industrial Division are currently recruiting Production Operators, for a large manufacturing client based in the Newhouse, Motherwell.

Due to the location of the assignment own transport would be beneficial.

Weekly Pay
41 hours week
Monday to Friday with opportunity of working overtime at the weekends
Full Training Provided

Rate of pay:
Training: £11.44 during the 6 weeks training period,
After Training:
Basic Rate £11.82
Additional Shifts allowances if allocated on Early, Backs or Nights

overtime paid at premium rate - x1.5 weekdays and Saturdays, x2 Sundays

The job involves of but is not limited to:

operating machinery,
thermostats manufacturing
quality checks
packing boxes for dispatch
ensuring the quality of products are to a high standard.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience of working to targets, and the ability to exceed production targets.
Excellent manual dexterity skills
A high level of concentration whilst carrying out duties.
A good level of fitness as physical work will be required.
The ability to work on your feet all day, as you will be predominantly standing for most of the shift.

Essential:
Flexibility is required as the shifts may rotate.
