We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Van Driver to join our team in Cookstown. The successful candidate will be expected to begin immediately and will work on a temporary ongoing contract. If you are looking for a role that combines both driving and manual handling, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Start your day at the local office, sorting and collecting parcels for delivery
- Deliver letters and parcels to local destinations, ensuring all deliveries are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Carry a delivery bag weighing up to 16kg, with parcels weighing up to 20kg
- Perform both driving and on-foot deliveries as required
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
- Adhere to safe driving practices and maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times
- A valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred)
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not essential
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide top-tier customer service
- Commitment to safe, responsible driving practices
- Ability to pass a Disclosure Check (essential)
