Job Description
Derby – Permanent
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm; Friday: 7:30 am – 12:30 pm
£50,000 – £55,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E):
- Promote and adhere to HS&E policies.
- Support audits and action plans to enhance safety and compliance.
- Foster a proactive HS&E culture to minimise incidents and hazards.
- Implement effective processes to boost customer satisfaction and reduce waste.
- Initiate cost reduction strategies to improve profitability.
- Monitor and enhance delivery performance through continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership and commercial awareness.
- Manufacturing/Engineering/Automotive experience an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of production processes, preferably in aerospace or automotive sectors.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing and modern production techniques.
- On-time, high-quality product delivery.
- Adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Achievement of cost reduction and efficiency goals.
