We are recruiting for an experienced administrator to join the logistics team at a busy depot just on the outskirts of Kegworth.
This position is covering a static day shift within the transport office to support the operations teams in managing vehicles and loads entering and leaving the site. This role is offered on an initial temporary period with opportunity to be made permanent after qualifying time period.
Hours of work are 06:00-18:00, 4 on 4 off pattern.
Your day to day includes:
- Planning and booking loads in and out the depot.
- Acting as main point of contact for all relevant parties.
- Keep up to date communications with drivers, suppliers and customers in regards to deliveries and ETA's.
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities and manage relevant documentation.
- Running data reports.
- General data entry and AD HOC admin support to other departments.
- Building strong relationships with both client and their customers.
- Liaise with the driving, warehouse and transport teams to ensure the smooth running of the depot.
What we're looking for:
- Prior experience in a logistics planning or administrative role is essential.
- Confident communicator both verbal and written
- Proficient using Microsoft Office packages and SAP.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own workload.
- Comfortable with lone working.

- This role is based 100% on site, there will be periods of time where you will be working alone.
