We’re looking for an organised and proactive Transport Administrator to join our busy logistics team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
You will be joining the afternoon shift of the operation, this is a static shift with set hours, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day running of the transport office
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and other departments to ensure efficient deliveries and collections
- Maintain accurate transport and driver records
- Handle transport documentation and compliance requirements
- Monitor vehicle movements and report any delays or issues
- Assist with planning routes and schedules where required
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Able to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and transport management systems
