Labourer

Position: Site Labouring Support
Rate: £12.21 per hour (Temporary ongoing)
Hours: 7am - 4pm ( Monday to Friday)
Location: Sherwood business park
 
Temporary Labourer required to support the production and manufacturing operations within a clean environment by ensuring all machinery, tools, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and in optimal condition.
 
The role includes general labouring duties, handling cleaning machinery, and assisting technicians and engineers to maintain high standards  and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain industrial cleaning machines (e.g. parts washers, ultrasonic cleaners, degreasers, etc.).
Clean production machinery, tools, and workstations, and equipment across the site.
Conduct visual inspections of equipment and report faults or issues promptly.
Support engineers and technicians with general production and housekeeping tasks.
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives where required.
 
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision.
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
