Job Description: - Carrying out take offs and the production of robust bills of quantities.
- Prepare detailed time, cost, materials, and labour estimates for projects by analysing drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Collaborate with Clients and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations / pricing.
- Conduct site visits (where required) to assess conditions and gather data that may impact project costs.
- Adjusting estimates as necessary to reflect changes in project scope or conditions.
- Ensuring all proposed contracts and terms and conditions are reviewed.
- Attend site meetings and ensure accurate measures and knowledge of the job is gained
- Collate and resolve tender/client queries
- Pricing of variations
- Maximise sales opportunities and update sales pipeline
- Be able to spot opportunities in tenders to secure a competitive edge
- Report and present tender submissions, to final submission
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide informed estimates.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and rates
- Monitoring project costs to ensure alignment with estimates.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project teams to ensure the smooth delivery of projects
- Source and order supplies as and when needed
- Represent the company in its best interests at all times
Additional information: - This is an office-based role
- Working hours 8-5
- Expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy
- Travel expenses will be compensated by keeping record of the miles travelled
