Overview
Pertemps Recruitment, on behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Coordinator to join the England's Economic Heartland (EEH) team in Aylesbury. Working alongside the team, you will play an important role in carrying out a range of EA and Project support activities on behalf of the Manging Director and wider EEH team.

About the role
As an Executive Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing correspondence from EEH partners and external stakeholders, including drafting replies as directed by the Programme Director/Programme Team
  • Proactively manage the Managing Directors inbox(s)
  • Effectively manage diaries ensuring the most effective use of time by those you support
  • Managing all activities relating to arranging meetings, including making room bookings, providing relevant meeting documentation in a timely way, taking notes and minutes of meetings as required, issuing action summaries, and ensuring that meeting notes and minutes are approved by the meeting Chair and issued promptly
  • Proactively dealing with queries on behalf of the wider EEH team
  • To undertake research in support of the Programme Director and Programme Team
This is a temporary position for 1 month. The pay rate is £15.71 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week. Buckinghamshire Council are working on a hybrid basis where you will work remotely for 3-4 days per week and in the office 1-2 days per week.

The Aylesbury office is conveniently situated in the town centre (HP20 1UA area) with great transport links including a local train station and excellent road connections to the M25, M1, M4 and M40.

About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:
  • The ability to keep up with the varied and fast-paced team
  • Good levels of previous similar experience
  • An organised approach and can manage competing priorities and work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong diary management skills and be a strong minute taker for executive meetings
  • Motivation to make a positive difference for our members and want to deliver total satisfaction.
  • Excellent ICT skills - experience of standard packages, including MS Office, Excel, and may include use of bespoke databases etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly accuracy with attention to detail
  • Responsibility for your work and are trusted to perform your job to the best of your ability
