Job Description
A student accommodation based in Wembley is seeking a Temporary Service and Sales Assistant to support an initial 2 months to start this week

Shift Pattern and Days: 7.5h shifts, working 5 days out of 7 (weekends included)
In May shifts will be comprised between 8 am - 8 pm; in June between 7.30 am - 10.30 pm
Sourcing Type: Temp workers are automatically assigned to a role

Hours per Day: 7.50
Workdays: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Key Responsibilities: 

- Checking customers in and out in a timely and accurate manner
- Managing and responding to customer and sales-related queries
- Conducting sales conversations and showing flat viewings with passion and enthusiasm and in accordance with the  sales process
- Assisting customers in a professional and courteous manner, showing empathy and responding with urgency to customer requests
- Maintaining information systems including booking system, hardcopy files and Excel spreadsheets, ensuring customer data is accurate, secure and compliant with the Data Protection Act
- Additional ad-hoc administration duties such as compilation of letters and emails
- Conducting room inspections and logging, assessing issues, problems and maintenance requirements
- Conducting after works inspections
- Working with third party suppliers to ensure works such as cleaning, painting, and maintenance are carried out in line with the project requirements
- Completion of inventories for new tenants
- Stock receipt and control

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, both orally and in writing
- An objective, professional and calm approach when handling difficult situations
- Previous experience of and commitment to understanding, empathising and delivering against customer needs
- Previous experience in an administrative role and ability to work accurately when handling a high volume of data
- Experience of and ability to work at pace and prioritising to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to make recommendations and or take decisions when faced with ambiguity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
