General Maintenance

Pertemps, in partnership with a leading student accommodation company, is recruiting for a Facilities Team Member to join a vibrant and dynamic team in the heart of Central London!

📍 Location: Central London
💷 Salary: £15 per hour
🕒 Hours: 7.5-hour shifts - 9am Start Monday - Friday flexibility required)
    Duration: 1 Month initially

About the Role:
As a Facilities Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students and colleagues. Reporting to the Facilities Team Lead, you’ll deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring our buildings are well-maintained, clean, and compliant. You’ll embody our CARE values – Connect, Act, Respect, and Encourage – in everything you do, making a real difference to the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Be a brand ambassador, acting with positive intent and providing a world-class student experience.
• Respond to maintenance requests, resolving issues promptly or escalating as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy environment – never walking past a mess without taking action!
• Undertake general maintenance tasks, including joinery, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Support with fire alarm activations, emergency building works, and summer turnaround projects.
• Log maintenance issues via the PDA app and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
