Job Title: Office Manager Location: Tavistock, Devon Salary: £14.00ph  Type: Permanent, Full‑time 
   A leading Contractor is in need of an Office Manager to oversee operations of a busy office. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple administrative, HR, financial, and communication tasks seamlessly. 
 Key Responsibilities- Prepare quotes & Invoices
 - Manage HR functions, recruitment, induction, performance & staff development
 - Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, systems, and workflows
 - Supervise administration staff
 - Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and servicing
 - Arrange team meetings and coordinate office events
 - Marketing tasks, advertising and assisting with the company website
 - Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures
 - Communicate with internal teams, clients, and external partners
 - Organise documents & filing systems and company documents
 
 Experience & Skills- Proven experience in an office management or administrative role ideally within Construction/Building
 - Excellent organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
 - Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
 - HR experience/ Knowledge would be an advantage
 - Good Communication skills
 - Experience supervising staff or managing small teams
 - Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven
