Deputy Contact Centre Manager, £30.91ph, Children’s Services, Enfield
Pertemps are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Workers to work within the Children & Families services at Edmonton Contact Centre. The aim of the service is to provide a safe, secure and child friendly environment where children 0-16 years can have direct contact with the important people in their lives.

The Deputy Centre Manager will need to be an experienced Social Worker, who can support the Centre manager in managing this busy 6-day service. They will be working with children and families who are primarily in Care Proceedings or where proceedings have recently concluded. They must have sound knowledge of child development, as well as a passion to support children and their families through this difficult and sometimes traumatic time. The candidate will have an ability to write and support their supervisees to write comprehensive contact reports and will take on the supervision of 5 Contact supervisors. The deputy centre manager will work with the Centre manager and the team to look at ways to develop the service to encourage positive working relationships between birth parents and foster carers.

The successful candidate will be required to work some Saturdays and a shift pattern of 9-5pm or 10 -6pm.
