Principal Occupational Therapist, £35ph, Walsall
Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Principal Occupational Therapists to join the team in Walsall.

Main duties:

• To provide strong professional Occupational Therapy practice leadership across all operational areas of the service.
• To be a member of the Adult Social Care Senior Management Team.
• To represent the Adult Social Care workforce at a strategic level to ensure service design and priorities are influenced by frontline OT practice experience.
• To contribute to a quality assurance system with a focus on improving outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
• To lead on learning and development and progression opportunities for the OT/OTA offer across Adult Social Care and work with managers to ensure that regular supervision, training, and development occurs.
• To take a leadership role in partnership working with other agencies as we develop an integrated approach to service development, working across Integrated Community Services to ensure services promote independence.

Hybrid working – minimum 2 days a week office-based

Requirements:

• Occupational Therapy Qualification
• Ability/Willingness to travel from location to location
• Accountability to the professional regulator
• Previous management/supervisory experience within OT setting
