Pertemps are currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapy Practitioner to join the Joint Emergency Team (JET) in the Royal Borough of Greenwich on a part time weekend basis.

Role Purpose:
JET aims to deliver crisis intervention services that enable people to remain safely in their homes, avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions.

About JET:
JET is a multi-professional team including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, General Practitioners, Social Workers, and an extensive supporting staff team. The team provides:

• Medical and nursing interventions.
• Manual handling and mobility assessments.
• Urgent social care packages and safeguarding responses.

Service Scope:

• Supporting individuals aged 18+ registered with a Royal Borough of Greenwich GP and living in the borough.
• Responding to referrals via the Virtual Ward, 111, GPs, D2A, LAS, and the Contact and Assessment Team (Greenwich’s Front Door Service).
• Delivering services 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Expertise in undertaking manual handling assessments in people’s homes on an urgent basis, with the ability to meet a 2-hour response time.
• HCPC Registered
