Social Worker, Referral & Assessment Team, Berkshire
Role Overview:
Pertemps is seeking a highly skilled Locum Social Worker to join the Referral & Assessment Team. The role involves working closely with families and professionals to assess and provide appropriate support, ensuring children and families receive meaningful and professional interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine the needs of children and families.
• Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to ensure children receive the right support.
• Provide timely and effective interventions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate case records and reports in line with statutory requirements.
• Apply children’s legislation and thresholds to decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Strong knowledge of children’s legislation, thresholds, and best practices.
• Previous experience in Referral & Assessment or similar teams preferred.
