Pertemps is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join our Adult Mental Health and AMHP Team based at Bro Cerwyn CMHT. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality mental health services for the citizens of Pembrokeshire, working in a person-centred and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Mental Health Act Assessments, demonstrating recent experience within the last five years.
• Respond promptly to assessments in various settings, ensuring timely intervention.
• Work collaboratively within the team to deliver efficient and high-quality mental health services.
• Provide regular updates to the Service Manager and Team Manager regarding activities and progress.
• Undertake Section 117 reviews and other relevant duties as required.
• Champion the Social Model within secondary mental health services.
• Flexibility to work outside standard operating hours, particularly for assessments that extend past 17:00.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified and experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
• Holder of a current AMHP warrant.
• Registered with Social Care Wales.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting Mental Health Act Assessments within the last five years.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.
