We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced
Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at
Heathrow Airport. Working within our Small Works and Facilities team, this is a varied and hands-on role carrying out maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across terminal buildings and critical infrastructure areas.

Key Responsibilities:- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems (DX units, split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, etc.)
- Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Support minor installation and upgrade works across terminals and plant rooms
- Monitor and maintain critical HVAC systems in compliance with industry regulations
- Accurately complete service reports, logbooks, and maintenance records
- Adhere strictly to health & safety and airport security protocols at all times
- Liaise with supervisors, clients, and other trades to deliver works smoothly and effectively
Requirements:- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical fault-finding
- Previous experience in a commercial or industrial environment (airport experience beneficial)
- CSCS/ECS card
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Must be eligible for Heathrow security clearance (clean criminal record and right to work in the UK)
What We Offer:- 18 – 26PH – core 40-hour week – 7.45 – 4.30.
- Position is fluid and as hourly paid salary moves in accordance with hours worked, no restrictions on hours / overtime
