Collection & Delivery Driver - Gloucester

Pertemps are recruiting Collection & Delivery drivers in Gloucester, to join ParcelForce in their growing business.

About the role

You’ll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. You’ll then collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses within your route. We are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond for Parcel Force customers

Location: Unit 1, The Perry Centre, Waterwells Business Park, Gloucester, GL2 2AD

Shift: Working Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday requirement
Hours: 8am – 6pm (due to the nature of the business flexibility is required)

Hourly Rate: £14.04 per hour basic rate (additional rate for overtime)

Contract: 22^nd April 2025 – 30^th May 2025

About you

Upbeat and self-motivated, you’ll be as happy working alone as well as working as part of a team. You’ll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
The role requires a physical aspect so it’s important that you’re able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.
 
Driving licence requirements

A full UK manual driving licence required (in your current UK address). No more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred.

Your licence will need to cover up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B).
