SEND Education Staff - Free Marketing

 Are you an experienced or aspiring SEND member of Support, looking to take on a Specialist Mentoring and Physical Intervention based role? We would like to market you for this in your local area. 

We are looking for THREE individuals to market across the southern area of Norfolk, to introduce to three specific Independant SEND Schools in the area providing that they show interest. 

This is a typically a FULL TIME, and LONG TERM assingment via Pertemps.

These schools are for children of Primary & Secondary ages who typically find mainstream education difficult. This means that their Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) whilst include a variety of learning difficulties such as SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour, and complex neurological needs. The schools utilise a range of outdoor & indoor learning and therapuetic internvention tools, with a chance to explore the Norfolk countryside on the doorstep, in addition to state-of-the art climbing and physical based activity setups within the provisions sites!

Pertemps ideal candidate:

• Educational or Care Work experience – with young people (preferably but open to experience)
• Grades c and above in English/maths/science (negotiable depending on experience)
• Have supported young people with behavioural issues, as well as mental health challenges.
• High level of resilience 'thick skin'.
• Valid, in date physical intervention training - Examples include; MAPA, De Escalation, Team Teach, Studio 4, NorfolkSteps, Pro Act Skip)
• Own Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we can process one for you)
• Be available to visit the school before Christmas, and start within the month May 2024 or September 2024
• Happy for us to start marketing you across your local area, in addition to the three major SEND schools we work with

- School hours are typically 8:30 to 16:00 with a number of early finishes & school trips. 
- Paid during the term time - paid weekly via Umbrella Payroll (with free accreditation learning & training courses offered!)
- Agency rate £96 per day Mon to Fri
- ASAP start or September
