SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL SUPPORT - FLEXIBLE

Are you available until the end of the academic year (as well as September onwards) and looking for immediate work within SEND Support? 

We are looking for a member staff who is ideally open to flexible week by week work, either full time or part time depending on your preferences each week. 

School Hours: 8:30 to 16:00
Pay: £98 - £106 per day
Start: ASAP 
Location: Between Thetford & Attleborough 

This is an oustanding SEND provision for Primary & Secondary age students who struggle with an access to mainstream education. This school, based on a countryside estate in Norfolk, utilise a range of therapy intervention with indoor & outdoor learning to promote an individualised access to education. Classrooms contain a selection of Education Professionals and you will be tasked with working around different year groups assisting on a 1 to 1 or group basis for the day.

The school is looking for Permanent staff, so if you enjoyed yourself and showed effectiveness in the role, you would be offered to apply for a Permanent and salaried role to start through Term 1 of the new academic 2024/25 year - but this is not essential if you only wish to work temporary. 

This provision is beautifully located with access to a wide display of outdoor learning resources such as state-of-the-art climbing frames, woodland walks, sports fields, and access to external swimming pools.

Ideal Pertemps Candidate:

- Previous experience working with children
- Familiar with managing social or Special Education needs such as Autism, Behaviour, ADHD, Complex Needs, SEMH. 
- Care or school support background 
- Available 2 to 5 days per week until end of July 2024 minimum 
- Own an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service
- 2 recent years worth of reference contacts 
- Own personal vehicle (school is in middle of countryside).
