Teacher of English and/or Drama - September Start

Pertemps are working alongside two secondary schools looking to take on an English or Drama Teacher in September 2024

Job Title: Secondary English Teacher & Secondary Drama Teacher
Salary: Paid to full scale with extras - negotiable salaries available if proven ability. 
Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
Location: Chelmsford or Tendring (2 sites available)

Contract: Permanent Salary paid to full scale with additional TLR etc, full benefits, no agency period. We're looking for a Teacher to work within the English department as well as a Drama Teacher or Head of Drama.

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate set of Teachers with high level technical abilities to contribute to innovating English delivery as well as Drama/Theatre. 

• You must be passionate about English or Drama and have the ability to inspire interest and curiosity in students.
• You will be responsible for teaching English or/and Drama to at least GCSE Level, A Level.
• Higher Education degree in English Language, Literature or combined, or Drama/Theatre Studies
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• GCSE Grades C / 4 or higher in Maths.
• Strong and successful track of delivering GCSE in the UK (ECT's welcome)
