Pertemps Education are currently seeking a Science Teacher of KS3 KS4 (Physics experience ideally) to join an outstanding and award-winning school & sixth form near Braintree, Essex.

The school: The large school in midessex is known for its academic excellence and thriving community. They are part of a Trust that overseas 6 secondary academies. The school has excellent transport links, close to the train station and plenty of parking as well as proximity to bus routes.

What are we looking for? The successful Science Teacher will have outstanding subject knowledge. You will be qualified to degree level in Science and will ideally already have classroom experience in a secondary school. QTS is prferred but we are very open to Instructor level candidates. The school will also welcome Early Career Teachers and will provide them with a full programme of support and mentoring. They are looking for someone with a work ethic that focuses on student enjoyment of learning such that they make great progress and with a deep commitment to their own development through high quality CPD provided by the school

What’s on Offer? This is a full time role to start September 2024 or potentially earlier. This is a weekly agency paid role, full time 8:30 to 15:20 hours. Paid competitively during the school term. Ideally we would like someone who can commit to at least 1 or 2 school terms.
