Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic school community in Hounslow. This immediate-start role is perfect for a recent graduate passionate about education and interested in progressing toward a teaching career. Working closely with experienced teachers across a variety of subjects, you will provide essential support to students, enhance their learning experience, and contribute positively to the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to assist in planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons.
• Offer one-on-one and small group support, helping students build confidence and overcome learning challenges.
• Aid in the preparation of classroom materials and resources to support effective teaching and learning.
• Assist with classroom management, fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
• Support students in developing study skills, confidence, and a passion for learning.
• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers, helping to inform academic assessments.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities, contributing to the wider school community.

Essential Requirements:

• A recent graduate with a strong academic background.
• A genuine passion for education, with a goal to pursue a teaching career.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive and positive approach, willing to contribute ideas and work collaboratively.
• Experience working with young people in a paid or voluntary capacity is an advantage.
