Derbyshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team in the Amber Valley Locality. This role involves managing a caseload of Single Assessments, Children in Need (CIN), and Child Protection (CP) cases.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting Single Assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
• Managing and supporting Children in Need (CIN) cases.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of children through Child Protection (CP) case management.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.

 
Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualifying experience in frontline Social Work.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
• A valid Social Work England registration.
