Job Description
Payrate - £40.52
Location: Hybrid working, with 2-3 days in the office in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct statutory visits for Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC).
- Chair CIN and Core Group meetings.
- Manage a caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC, including cases within Public Law Outline (PLO) or S31 Care Proceedings.
- Prepare Court reports, risk assessments, and parenting assessments, with support from senior practitioners or team managers when attending court.
- Participate in the duty rota to provide immediate support where necessary.
- Attend Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC) and Review Child Protection Conferences (RCPC), and prepare conference reports.
- Assess and manage risks effectively to safeguard children and young people.
