The role of a Year 1 ECT at this ‘Outstanding’ primary school is to support pupils with the transition into fulltime school life, providing creative and engaging tasks, the pupils at this school arrive to school with an appetite to learn and are keen to show off their skills.
 
As a Year 1 ECT you will be joining a fantastic KS1 team who work very closely with each other in order to support the pupils as much as possible, with state-of-the-art classrooms and breakout rooms, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Year 1 ECT to develop their skills and complete their induction.
 
The school is located in the Walsall and has fantastic transport links from Walsall town centre. The headteacher has been with the school for a number of years and has made it one of the best Primary Schools in the area. With a dedicated Head of KS1 who joined the school as a Primary ECT and has experience of completing an induction, you will be given the support and guidance to follow in her footsteps as a Year 1 ECT.
