Stores Operative
£11.44 - £12 per hour
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (With an early finish on Friday!)
 
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Stores Operative with a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license to join our growing team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
• Operate forklifts to safely and efficiently move stock around the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate stock records using our inventory management system.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocktaking procedures.
• Ensure the store area is clean, well-organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Handle returns and damaged goods according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet stock requirements and deadlines.

Requirements:

• A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license is essential.
• Proven experience in a warehouse or stores operative role.
• Familiarity with stock management systems
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A commitment to health and safety regulations.
