Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on various metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications.
- Set up welding machines, adjust settings, and ensure proper wire feed and gas flow.
- Inspect and test welds for quality, strength, and durability.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Requirements:
- Experience: MIG welding experience.
- Skills: Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, strong attention to detail.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
- Safety Conscious: Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE use.
- Team Player: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
