Job Description
Location: Evesham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour
We are currently seeking a dedicated PPT Driver/Production Operative to join our client’s team in Evesham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hardworking individual to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand-picking orders with precision and accuracy.
- Operating in a fast-paced setting; prior experience in similar roles is essential.
- Unloading deliveries and containers efficiently.
- Working daily in cold storage conditions.
- Labelling and re-labelling stock as required.
- Wrapping pallets to prepare goods for transportation.
- Conducting quality checks on products to meet standards.
- Essential:
- Previous experience as a Production Operative.
- Proficiency in operating PPT (Powered Pallet Truck).
- Experience handling fruit and vegetables.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment and meet order-picking deadlines.
- Desirable:
- Prior experience working in cold storage.
- FLT (Forklift Truck) licence – advantageous but not essential.
