detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Finance department. In this role, you will work with large datasets, uncover meaningful insights, and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the organisation.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:- Extract transactional data from online payment platforms (Shopify, Klarna, Clearpay, Layby) and analyse it against processed transactions.
- Conduct periodic sampling of credit balances.
- Develop KPIs to benchmark against past performance and enhance visibility of operational success.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements and prioritise data-driven initiatives.
- Conduct statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and predictive modelling to uncover actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Monitor and evaluate business processes and initiatives, providing optimisation recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and statistical techniques.
About You:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and detail-focused individual with the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
- Experience using NetSuite (Oracle).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
