a local authority in Southeast England in their search for an experienced
SEN Casework Officer to join their SEND Service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on meaningful, hands-on work supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities across the 0–25 age range.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage a designated caseload, ensuring efficient coordination of the EHC assessment and review process in line with the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
- Prepare and maintain draft, final, and amended Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Attend annual reviews and present case-specific requests to the weekly assessment and review panel.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to parents, carers, schools, and professionals regarding statutory SEND procedures.
- Collaborate closely with professionals across education, health, and social care to ensure high-quality, timely EHCP outcomes.
- Work proactively to promote the best possible educational outcomes and wellbeing for children and young people with SEND.

About You:- Experienced in SEND casework and managing EHC assessments and reviews within a local authority setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Children & Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice (2015).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and report-writing skills.
- Confident in multi-agency working and managing relationships with families and professionals.
